Maintenance and Operations Funding for Our Park
Mission
The mission of the Freedom Park Association is "to maintain and create an open space on Camano Island to be enjoyed by individuals of all ages which reflects the values of our community."
Description of Services
With views of Mt. Rainier, Discovery Bay, and the local businesses of Terry’s Corner, Freedom Park is a great place to bring the family for a few hours or the entire day. But it is more than just a playground! There is a memorial for the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, dedicated to all of those who serve the causes of freedom and peace. You can stroll among the many sculptures and art installations from Stanwood and Camano Island’s large community of artists. Or you can fly a kite and picnic in the grass. Whatever you are looking for, Freedom Park is the place to go!
Future projects (based on funding) fixing much needed playground repairs (including a new fence) and building a walking trail throughout the park.
