Founded in 1984,  Stanwood Camano Food Bank Services (SCFBS) is a 501(C)3 organization that provides a variety of critical food, clothing and household resource assistance for underserved families and individuals in rural and suburban areas of Camano Island and northwestern Snohomish County.

Description of Services

SCFBS’s services include: a year-round Summer Meal and Back Pack Meal-Kit program for Kids; dual-location food banks with 4 public and 1 senior service days for 450+ households weekly; and 5 self-service pantries across both counties; and a Christmas House and Warm Coats for Kids program which serves ~1800 children ever season.

SCFBS collects and distributes over $1.2 million in food resources ranging from grocery recovery, commodity allocations, food drives, private donations, agricultural gleaning, and more. SCFBS also direct-purchases wholesale food – to exceed $300,000 in 2023-24FY.
