MISSION:  We support healthy aging, connection, and well-being for adults 55 and older.

VISION:  A community where older adults are empowered to live their lives to their fullest potential.

VALUES:  We behave with compassion, respect, and integrity. We foster an environment of inclusion and continuous growth. We act with a heart of service.

Established in 1982 to fill a void for older adults with food insecurities, our mission has adapted over the years to accommodate the needs of many people on the island. Our current Mission is to support healthy aging, connection, and well-being for adults 55 and older in our community. The Camano Center and 2nd Chance Thrift Shop operations are made possible with donations, grants, and fundraisers which all rely heavily on hundreds of volunteers and supportive members.

The Camano Center is a vibrant place dedicated to empowering older adults to embrace life to its fullest potential through support, learning, volunteering, and experiences. Get connected!
