Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation

The mission of the Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation (SCAF) is to strengthen our community by empowering nonprofits, fostering community involvement, and providing educational opportunities through collaboration and giving.

Our vision is to help build a vibrant, caring, "hometown" community where people can be proud to live, work, and play.

Since 1960, SCAF has worked to build a resilient community by connecting people who care with the causes that matter most.

We empower nonprofits through networking opportunities, educational workshops and mentoring, grant funding, usage of our meeting space, and the hosting of SC Give. 

We foster community involvement by acting as the anchor agency and fiscal sponsor for the Community Coalition of Stanwood-Camano, and by providing opportunities for community members to support their community through financial gifts and volunteerism.

We provide educational opportunities through the management of scholarship programs for both graduating high school seniors and adult learners, and Educational Enhancement Grant funding for the Stanwood-Camano School District. 

Through community partnerships, charitable giving, and thoughtful stewardship, SCAF helps ensure that generosity today creates lasting impact for generations to come.
