Stanwood-Camano Music Boosters

The Stanwood-Camano Music Boosters work alongside the Stanwood-Camano School District’s music educators and students to instill a lifelong appreciation and enjoyment of music. Through fundraising, volunteering, and advocacy, the SCMB works to ensure every music educator, program, and student has the resources they need to achieve excellence.

Established in June 2026, Stanwood-Camano Music Boosters (SCMB) grew from the Stanwood High School Band Boosters into a districtwide organization with one shared mission: to support music education for students throughout the Stanwood-Camano School District.

With the collaboration of district music teachers, SCMB brings together families, volunteers, and community supporters to strengthen music programs at all 11 district school and parent partnership sites: Cedarhome, Elger Bay, Stanwood, Twin City, and Utsalady Elementaries; Port Susan and Stanwood Middle Schools; Saratoga School and Lincoln Academy; and Lincoln Hill and Stanwood High Schools.

Music education enriches students’ lives, builds confidence, inspires creativity, and creates a sense of connection and belonging. But providing high-quality music programs takes more than what school district funding alone can cover. Instruments, music, transportation, and equipment repairs create significant financial needs. In the 2025–26 school year, the gap between district funding and needed repairs alone was approximately $60,000.

SCMB helps bridge that gap. We also work to ensure that every student can participate fully in music classes, performances, and enrichment opportunities, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. With approximately 25–30% of our student population needing financial assistance, community support makes a meaningful difference.

This Giving Tuesday, your generosity can help keep the music playing. Every donation helps provide students with the instruments, resources, opportunities, and encouragement they need to learn, grow, and thrive through music.

Together, we can build stronger music programs, remove barriers to participation, and inspire a lifelong love of music in every student across the Stanwood-Camano community.

Give today. Make music possible for every student.
